Trikes

Trikes are very hard to find in conventional bike shops, and have become a specialty at TTR because of this fact. People want trikes for a wide variety of reasons, varying from the practical (can't ride two-wheeled bikes due to balance, etc.) to the adventurous (just love the feeling of whizzing around on a recumbent trike!). One customer bought one in order to make a comfortable cross-the-USA trip possible. TTR tries to cater to this wide range of desires with a number of trike offerings.

If your interest is in a recumbent performance trike, then our stocked line of Catrikes is for you. We offer a cash prize to anyone who can ride one a hundred feet without grinning. We stock six Catrike models, including the new Villager, a comfortable, value priced machine with upright seating and good ground clearance.

We are stocking dealers for the Greenspeed line of Trikes. Greenspeed, a pioneer in the trike field, offers some legendary touring trikes as a part of their comprehensive lineup. In addition to their tadpoles, we have the delta-style Anura. Remember that many Greenspeeds have a folding feature that makes them easier to transport.

Back in 2009 is a great value ride, the TerraTrike Cruiser from Wizwheelz. The 2006 Bentrider Online Trike of the Year is an attractively priced option at $1499. Also in stock is the breezy 3-speed Path model, priced at $999. The rest of the TerraTrike line is available from TTR via special order. Check out the new Path 8 at the TerraTrike website!

For the wide variety of other needs, we source trikes from many sources, such as Trailmate (who have an excellent in-house department for trikes-for-the-disabled; also some fun, inexpensive single-speed recreational trikes for use in parks and RV sites). We get our industrial work trikes, as well as other recumbent delta-style trikes from Sun Bicycles. We keep the popular Sun X-3 model in stock.

So, give us a call if you think there's a trike in your future!
