This is the section of Hudson Street that links to W. Washington, which is the main East/West corridor in our part of the world. This stretch of sidewalk is new, poured the day this photo was taken on Friday. It's part of a general freshening of the Washington Street corridor that's going on now—new sidewalks and curb cuts, planted medians, fresh landscaping, and hopefully bike lanes in the not-to-distant future. The neighborhood already has a lot of bike and pedestrian traffic and it is a welcome thing to see the groundwork laid for W Washington to continue to develop into a connected, sustainable community.
